Wine Cellar

Lewine — 8,000 years of craft in one courtyard

Our cellar sits inside a historic 19th-century building with a central courtyard-terrace. Three tiers of wine experience — from a guest's first curiosity to a living Georgian supra. Every package includes sommelier service in Georgian, English or Russian.

The qvevri method

Buried clay qvevri work as natural fermenters. No artificial heating — temperature is regulated by the earth itself. The result: wine with natural tannins, lasting aromatics and a colour you find nowhere else. UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2013.

Amber wine

White grapes — Kisi, Rkatsiteli — ferment like reds. Long contact with skins gives the wine its amber hue, deep body and remarkable harmony with food.

The Old Tbilisi courtyard

Tastings start on the central courtyard-terrace of a 19th-century building. The scent comes in from the sulphur springs, the rooftops of Kala, and the cellar — one place that holds the city and the wine together.
